Silver
Run Cabins were designed and built by Byron and Belenda Shipman
and our family in 1992. Growing up, working and playing in the
heart of the Ozark Mountains gave us the desire to share this
area with visitors from a "local's"
perspective. The quaint cottages are nestled in a private,
forested location along Highway 14, in the Ozark Mountains of
North West Arkansas. Elegant, lovely, clean and rustic, located
near the famed Buffalo
River; the Buffalo National River is known as one of the
last free-flowing great rivers in the lower 48 states (there
are no dams on the Buffalo River).
We know you will enjoy the River, whether it is to float, hike, swim, try your luck with those elusive bass, or just sitting on the bank skipping a rock. If you feel like exploring, how about a drive down a beautiful country road to the mining ghost town of Rush? Legend has it, up to 5,000 people once lived in the valley. Whatever you choose to do we know you'll have a great time!
Silver
Run Cabins are sure to please any visitor with their rustic
charm and beautiful construction. No efforts have been spared
to create a peaceful atmosphere, and the attention to detail
is extraordinary. Such care has gone into the interior design,
furnishings and up-keep
that visitors keep coming back to Silver Run Cabins year after
year. Special touches and loving care garnish each cabin, inside
and out. View the Cabin Gallery
to get a sense of how wonderful these accomodations actually
are! Visit the Scenery Gallery
for a taste of the natural wonders and vistas in the immediate
area. Make Silver Run Cabins your first choice for Ozark Mountain
lodging. Whether you are planning a canoe or fishing trip down

Retreat, we are sure you will be happy here! Make your Reservations
